Instant dhokla Recipe
1) 1 cup besan
2) 1 teaspoon citric acid/ Nimbu satva/or 1/2 nimbu ka Ras.
3)1/4 teaspoon turmaric powder/Haldi.
4)Salt to taste.
5)1 spoon sugar.
6)1 teaspoon baking powder.
7)1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
8)1 tablespoon hot oil.
Tadka ingredients :-
1) 1 tbsp oil.
2) 1 tbsp sugar.
3) 1 tbsp jeera/ cumin seeds.
4) 2 finely chopped green chilli.
5) 1 cup water.
1) Take a bowl and add besan into it.
2) Now add 1 tsp citric acid/Nimbu satva/or if you don’t have citric acid then you can add 1/2 lemon’s juice.
3)If you take citric acid then first dissolve it into small amount of water and then add it .Also add salt to taste , 1 spoon grinded sugar and turmaric/haldi powder.
4)Then add required amount of water so that the batter is not soo thick.
5) Mix it well .
6) Leave it for 15 minutes.
7) Now , add 1 glass of water into cooker also put stand into cooker to place the pot. Heat it on medium flame so that the water will starts boiling.
8) After 15 minutes take dhokla batter and add 1 tbsp hot oil into it.
9) Also add baking powder and baking soda again mix it well .
10) Take a pot and apply oil to it so that the dhokla will not stick to the pot.
11) Now put the dhokla batter into that pot. And place that pot into cooker and cover the lid take care that the lid should be without whistle.
12)steam it for 15 minutes.After that check with the help of knife.
13) Take pot out of the cooker and wait till it becomes cool.
14) Now ,turn the pot into plate. Add tadka on it now cut it and it’s ready to serve.
1) Put a pot on gas and add 1 tbsp oil to it.
2) When oil becomes hot add 1 tbsp cumin seeds to it . You can add mustard seeds also.
3) Add chopped green chilli to it and fry it.
4) Now add 1 cup water to the pot also add 1 tbsp of sugar to it. Dilute it for a minute and now your tadka for dhokla is ready apply it on dhokla . You Can Enjoy it with Maggie Pichaku.
